Project 1: a customized CRM application

A medium-size travel agency that has a client base of over 5,000 wishes to streamline their business operations to improve their work efficiency and reduce possible human made errors. On a daily basis, they handle hundreds of customer phone calls and requests.

Needs: to have a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that enables them to better handle customers when they call or visit.

Solutions: Blueskyns custom designed a web application that allowed the users to access the client central database through a secure protocol. All employees can use the system but with different access levels so some can only retrieve and view client profiles while only administrator or managers can modify or delete customers. Each customer profile consists of not only the basic personal information, but also relationships to other customers (ie. relatives or friends) along with purchasing history. Customer preferences are also stored to help travel agents quickly familiarize the customer they are dealing with. This system has helped the travel agency improve their daily operations and most employees are more confident now that they can better handle customer's requests as they can quickly access customer profiles with relevant details that they never had before.

Project 2: a Corporate Web Portal

An international business that specializes in machinery import and export wishes to expand business operations by going online and own a space on the web. Their customers are all over the world and they are constantly coping with time difference for communications.

Needs: a web system that will enable all their employees around the world to better communicate. Furthermore, they need a place to organize and share their company's documents and resources.

Solutions: A corporate web-portal is the key to turn their traditional operations into e-business solutions. Blueskyns analyzed their needs and proposed such project. This web-portal consists of many sub-systems including a document management system that allows all their employees to share and collaborate on the web through secure protocol. All their employees around the world can now access corporate documents, news bulletins, schedules, and resources. With this portal that's full of company resources, they can now cut quotation time from an average of 1 week to 1 day! Time zone differences are no longer obstacles as they can now work on the same system.

Project 3: an E-Learning platform

A large medical institution wants to implement a program to allow online training to their three level of students: medical school, residency, and post-residency. Some students have expressed interests in having a learning system that help them continue learning and exploring opportunities in related field of medicine.

Needs: a e-learning system that enables students and teachers in different part of the world to interact, collaborate, and share information and resources.

Solutions: Blueskyns consulted with the client to analyze their needs, which were later divided into 5 major modules: Lecture, Forum, Scheduler, Career, and Discussions. Lecture enables online teaching; Forum module allows off-line discussions and Q & A; Career module provides opportunities for students and teachers to apply for and post jobs; Discussions module serves the needs of real-time communications and group discussions. The result is a fairly large system that is capable of catering all levels of students.

Project 4: an E-Commerce system

Consumer electronics retail stores are becoming popular. Having a storefront usually requires major overhead for store and sales staff. A prospect approached us and wanted to know if they could quickly setup such business and start making sells without too much capital investment involved. They have over 5000 consumer electronics products to manage.

Needs: be able to operate an e-retail shop that is capable of handling 5000 consumer electronics products.

Solutions: A Blueskyns E-Commerce solution can quickly turn their idea into reality. We customized the whole storefront according to client's needs and specifically designed and implemented features that were requested such as Advance Product search and Order tracking system. The E-Commerce solution has helped them reduce overhead of having to pay rents and hiring extra storefront sales staff. Furthermore, their products now can reach customers around the world instead of making sells in local market. The happy client can now work anytime and anywhere that has an Internet connection!
